What is hyperbaric oxygen therapy?+
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) involves breathing oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. The increased pressure allows more oxygen to dissolve into your blood and tissues. Our chambers operate at 1.5 ATA and deliver 99.9% oxygen through a mask during your session.
What pressure does the chamber run at?+
Our soft-shell chamber operates at 1.5 ATA (atmospheres absolute). Combined with 99.9% oxygen delivered through a mask, this is a meaningful step above ambient air without the risks or complexity of higher-pressure hard chambers.
Why is the chamber "designed for Utah altitudes"?+
Many soft-shell chambers are built for sea-level conditions. Ours uses thicker, reinforced TPU material chosen specifically to maintain reliable pressure performance at Utah elevations (4,000–7,000+ feet), where atmospheric pressure is lower and the chamber has to work harder to reach 1.5 ATA.
Is this safe to use at home?+
When used as directed by a healthy adult who has been properly screened and trained, soft-shell chambers operating at 1.5 ATA have a strong safety profile. Our onboarding covers safe operation, contraindications, and emergency procedures. That said, hyperbaric therapy is not appropriate for everyone — our medical screening ensures we only rent to people for whom home use is safe.
Do I need a prescription?+
For our 1.5 ATA soft-shell chamber, no prescription is required for general wellness use. We do require a medical screening questionnaire, and in some cases — particularly with underlying conditions — we'll ask for physician clearance before delivery. We're not making any medical claims; we're providing equipment for you to use under your own care.
How much space do I need?+
The chamber footprint is 36" wide by 89" long (about 3 feet by 7.5 feet). Plan for an 8' × 5' floor area to allow space to enter and exit comfortably, ideally in a quiet room with a standard 110V outlet within 8 feet. You'll also want a doorway of at least 30" for delivery. We'll help you scout the space during booking.
How long does delivery and setup take?+
Delivery, installation, and full onboarding takes 1–2 hours. Our team arrives at your scheduled window, sets up the chamber, runs a pressure test, and walks you through everything you need to know to use it safely.
How often should I use the chamber?+
Most clients run sessions of 60–90 minutes, 3–7 times per week depending on their goals. We'll discuss session frequency during onboarding, but ultimately your protocol is between you and your healthcare provider. The chamber is yours to use freely throughout your rental.
What's the minimum rental?+
One month is our standard minimum because most meaningful protocols take several weeks of consistent use, and our delivery, setup, and sanitization process is built around that cadence. That said, we do offer weekly rates for partial-month rentals —
contact us for details. If you're not sure, the 1-month rate is the way to start.
What's the cancellation policy?+
Cancellations more than 7 days before scheduled delivery receive a full refund. Within 7 days, we retain a 25% deposit. Once the chamber has been delivered, rental fees are non-refundable. Multi-month rentals can be ended early with at least 7 days' notice — any partial month is recalculated at the next-shortest tier's rate. Full details are on our
Terms page.
What if all chambers are booked?+
Join our waitlist. We work through it in order, and most waitlisted clients are matched with a chamber within 1–3 weeks. You'll get a notification the moment a unit becomes available, with a 24-hour window to confirm before we move to the next person.
Who shouldn't use a hyperbaric chamber?+
Contraindications include untreated pneumothorax, certain ear/sinus conditions, severe claustrophobia, active respiratory infections, pregnancy, and certain chemotherapy drugs. Our intake form screens for these. If you have any cardiac, pulmonary, or neurological conditions, we recommend physician clearance before booking.
Can multiple people in my household use it?+
Yes — but every user must follow our directions for proper use. The chamber is sized for a single adult per session, or one adult and one small child.
Do you serve my area?+
We currently serve the greater Salt Lake and Utah Valley region, with extended delivery available across most of northern Utah.
Contact us with your ZIP code and we'll let you know.
How are chambers cleaned between rentals?+
Every chamber is sanitized and inspected between rentals according to our documented internal protocols. We're happy to walk you through specifics when you reach out —
contact us if you'd like more detail.
