Important positioning

The chamber Purebaric rents is a mild hyperbaric oxygen (mHBOT) chamber provided for general wellness and relaxation only. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. No medical advice is being provided.

You should consult your physician before participating in mHBOT, especially if you have any pre-existing medical condition.

Known risks of mHBOT use

By using a hyperbaric chamber, you assume certain risks, including but not limited to:

• Ear or sinus discomfort or barotrauma
• Headache, dizziness, anxiety, or claustrophobia
• Temporary vision changes
• Fatigue or lightheadedness
• Fire hazard if oxygen safety rules are not followed
• Personal injury due to improper operation or exiting the chamber
• Worsening of unknown or pre-existing medical conditions

Contraindications

The following conditions may be contraindications to mHBOT use. If any apply to you or anyone who will use the chamber, you must consult a physician before booking:

• Pneumothorax (collapsed lung) or severe lung disease
• Ear, sinus, or respiratory infections
• Uncontrolled seizures
• Pregnancy
• Fever or active illness
• Implanted devices, pacemakers, or medical hardware
• Recent surgery
• Certain chemotherapy medications (e.g. Doxorubicin, Bleomycin, Cisplatin, Disulfiram)
• Any condition your physician advises against

Safety rules every renter follows

At delivery, every renter signs an agreement to follow these rules. Failure to follow them may result in serious injury or death:

• No smoking, flames, sparks, heaters, electronics, vaping, or other ignition sources near or inside the chamber
• Do not exceed recommended pressure levels
• Do not modify the equipment
• Keep pets and children away from the controls
• Keep the chamber clean and free of oils, chemicals, or aerosols
• Stop use immediately if you feel unwell

Who can operate the chamber

• The chamber may only be used by trained household members
• Children may only use it under direct adult supervision
• Unauthorized users are not permitted

Onboarding training takes place at the time of delivery, with a printed quick-reference guide that stays with the chamber for the duration of your rental.

Emergency protocol

If you experience discomfort, distress, or any medical symptoms during a session:

• Slowly depressurize and exit the chamber
• Seek appropriate medical care
• If an emergency occurs, call 911
• Contact Purebaric regarding any incident

Chamber cleaning & inspection

Every Purebaric chamber is sanitized and inspected between rentals according to documented protocols. Inspection logs are available on request.

Insurance & liability

Purebaric carries appropriate business insurance for its rental operations. Every rental requires a signed waiver and release of liability before delivery. If you'd like to review the full waiver before booking, please contact us and we'll send you a copy.
